This Book Opened a Grown Man's Heart
I am a 51 year old man, and a Christian. But my faith was almost entirely intellectual, and I struggled spiritually all my Christian life. I grew up very hard, bitter, distrustful, deceitful and vengeful. My life has been a trainwreck, but I knew from age 35 that God is real. Last week I read The
Shack
, and that simple little book opened up deep, closed-off places in my heart that I did not know existed. I clearly remember reading the conversation between Jesus and Mackenzie regarding good and evil, and weeping. But this weeping was from some place so deep in my soul that I did not make a sound. I just lay there on my sofa, tears streaming from my eyes, my mouth wide open, and not a sound coming from me. I wasn't even breathing. And I felt pain and sorrow leave me, leave my body, and my relationship today with God is better than I ever imagined it could be. I love now. I see God's love, and when I look at other people, I consider and even weakly feel Gods love for them. He always loves. He always cares. He always hears and He waits for you to trust Him completely. Ask Him to let you trust Him. And read The Shack.

Honestly I've read a lot and I was stunned by the beauty and internal disruption this book forged in my heart. It penetrates that place like very few books can! The
Shack
left me more in love with God, more awed by His character, and mystified by His GOOD ways that come in often very strange forms. A must read for any believer or seeker who wants to delve deeper to know the heart of God.
Unable to Put This Book Down
A friend sent me this book from TX with warning me about it's power and impact. I could not put it down and even when I was not reading it, the thoughts and prayers it evoked would not stop.
The story of all-encompassing love and forgtiveness, this book is life changing and moving clear to the finish. Well-written and and carefully crafted, this author has created a must for all to read.

Explaining God to the masses
Awsome book, I would recommend this to everyone. Simple, but enjoyable reading. My wife bought 10 copies to give out!
Absolutely Excellent!
I think this is a great book and could not hardly pu it down! It opens up our eyes and stereotypes of God. Praise God the unique and wonderful God He is that created the universe! LAURIE SLATER
