I love this coffee
I purchased this french coffee
press
for my daughter for christmas. we both love it. the coffee tastes sooooo yummy. I buy good quality coffee and follow the instuctions and you cant go wrong..the only complaint someone may make is that the coffee is not really hot..doesnt bother me. i like it just the way it comes out and im sold. im buying another one for my mom. she drinks instant coffee and is in for a big surprise when she trys this out...this is what coffee should taste like...yummy yummy
Excellent!
This
press
pot
is wonderful. It is a good size, and keeps coffee warm for many hours. Cleans up well. Do not have to be concerned about breaking glass as with other press pots. Love it.

Love stainless steel Bodum
The
Bodum
Columbia
8-
Cup
Stainless
-
Steel
Thermal
Press
Pot
is a wonderful
progression from the glass bodum. I love the single press as it is much
easier to rinse off and clean. I shattered my glass bodum and now I have
no worries when rinsing out the new one.
Thanks

Great Camping Coffee Pot
We got the
stainless
steel
, insulated
press
, because we wanted good coffee while camping. When enjoying breakfast or dinner in the crisp mountain air at our favorite camp s

, a hot
cup
of Sanka or Lipton's just didn't cut it; and we were disappointed in our old percolator's poor performance. We had better luck with one of those hotel-style, miniature "Mr. Coffee" machines; but there aren't any 110v hook-ups in the boonies.
We remembered that a glass coffee press we had years ago made pretty good coffee, but it would be too fragile for camping. So, the search was on for a press that would survive rattling around in our Airstream. That's when we found the
Bodum
thermal
press pot.
Most of the other reviews are pretty accurate: It makes great coffee - even better tasting than our electric drip machine at home. The same coffee tastes smoother (less bitter), yet still full flavored. (We prefer Costco's Kirkland-brand Colombian Supremo whole beans, which is like a poor man's Starbucks.) There is a little silt at the bottom of the cup, but that's just part brewing coffee in a press.
As for the comments on poor insulation, the work-around is simple. Preheat the pot before brewing, and either wrap it in a towel or cozy, or transfer the remainder into a thermos bottle. We find that the eight cup (four mug) model is just about right for the two of us to have one mug of coffee each, and the refills are still hot after 20-30 minutes. There usually isn't any left to get cold.
The stainless steel pot and parts are rugged and will survive trailering, though there will undoubtedly be some decorative dents added on future trips that will add character and history to the latest addition to our home-away-from-home.

Love my Tea Press
I LOVE this Tea
press
. I have not had one tea leaf in my tea and it is the perfect size so we don't waste any but yet there is enough for those of us that want some. The seal works great!
