Great Book!!

I highly recommend "Shaman, Healer, Sage" by Alberto Villoldo for 3 reasons. First, his experiential approach offers unique insights into Native American metaphysics. Second, his novel approach to the number and structure of chakras provide substantial expanatory power as well as clear linkages to other metaphysical constructs (ie Kaballah/Tree of Life). Third, his exercises are easily understood and applied with virtually immediate impact and benefit.

A great journey

This book is an inspiration. It is took me on a journey into life, death, spirit and infinity. It is an exquisite combination of the true experiences of Dr Villoldo in his 25 years in the amazon and Andes and it passes those years of experience onto me - the reader! I feel as if my world view has been broadened and it has given me keys that will accelerate my own process of healing; and my access to beauty and spirit.

A great journey

Although this book was educational and the author was clearly well informed on the topic, his writing left a lot to be desired. It would have been infinitely easier to comprehend had he included more details and specicific explanations and instructions.
