Great Book, Great Series, My New Favorite Author!!
I love these books!! John Sandford (aka John Camp) has become my new favorite author as I've read thru the
Prey
series. If you are just starting out, try to read them in order of publication, so you don't miss anything! A great read, I love Lucas Davenport!
Book RATES so high, it's off the scale!
This book is the best suspense book I have ever read. It had me reading, reading, and not wanting to take a break. The writing is outstanding. I especially liked the way the characters came together in unity even when you least expected it. I mean even the "bad" characters unified as a whole to create a plot filled with "juiciness" that is so rare to read indeed. Read this one, and you won't be disappointed. Add it to your collection today.

Very Good!!!
This is classic John Sandford material. I utterly enjoyed
Sudden
Prey
! JS is another of the masters of the fast-paced crime novels. I love Lucas' character. He is such a 'bad dude!!' I had actually read Secret Prey before this one, so I already kind of knew the ending, and what happened with Weather, but it was still a great read!
substandard prey
I've read most of the "
prey
" novels (Rules-, Eyes-, Winter-, Mind-, and Silent-), and this is the first one that disappointed me. The villains aren't interesting and the plot is predictable.
