A Fresh Approach to Answering Life's Tough Questions
The plot in this book moves swiftly and evokes deep emotions as the reader begins to identify with the characters in the book. The plot deals with the loss of a child but the creative writing allows the reader to identify with personal losses in life and move through a healing process vicariously at first and then personally if desired. The main character in the story works through reconcillation with the past, himself, and with God. It is a beautiful and moving story. Older teenagers might enjoy this if the maturity level is very high. It is primarily suited for adults. Don't let the back cover description scare you away from the book. The loss of a child is any parents' worst nighmare but the story is more about reconcilliation than loss. The author takes some liberty in the descriptions of the Trinity but I enjoyed the creativity.

The
Shack
This book, in the context of a well written, gripping story, covers some of the most difficult theological questions that exist. The answers are clear, Biblically based and logical. A friend claimed reading this book was the equal to a year in seminary. The story is so gripping I read it in two sittings. You have to keep reminding yourself this is fiction. A must read.
10 Star Rating
This is a must read. The most beautiful book I have ever read. Truly has rocked my world. I thank God for using William Young to write such a great master piece.
Life changer
The
Shack
is a novel, not a Bible Study. I feel sorry for the folks who cannot be encouraged and lifted up by this story which is so filled with real truth and life. It is a fantastic story and I recommend it to one and all.

A clearer perspective
I bought 36 of these books to give out because I believe the author has allowed the reader to see our omnipotent God as our truly loving father. He is both all powerful and all loveing.
I feel how much He loves me now and that inspires me and comforts me before I knew it only.
