The most helpful self-help ADD organizing book
They keep the chapters short, sweet, and to the point. They also give a quick overview at the end of every chapter. They help you identify and recognize
your
problem areas with ADD symptoms and various
ways
to re-train yourself to work with and around these symptoms. It has helped me become more
organize
d and stay that way the more I read it.

Just right format for those with excess attention!
I loved this book. It was easy to read. I could skim and skip parts, but mostly since she has written it in a very ADD
friendly
way, it was easy to get through and there are lots of good ideas which I have used. I read it and then bought a copy for my sister too.
Great tips!
For anyone with ADD or ADD tendencies, this book is a definite addition to
your
resource library. Written in an easily browseable fashion (targeted at the habits of its intended audience), "ADD-
Friendly
Ways
..." does not advise you how to change the things that come with ADD, but suggests ways to use your unique characteristics in a positive manner. Unlike most organizational tomes, the book gives practical methods that are not overwhelming and rigid, allowing the person with ADD to take on a few things at a time so as not to set you up for failure because you can't do it all at once.
If you have ADD or ADD tendencies, this book will speak to you like a knowing therapist. Just the acknowledgement of others, described in the book, is comforting in that what you experience is real and OK. I find myself returning to browse through the book to remember methods and suggestions on a daily basis.

Great Read
This book is very good and well written. It gives some great ideas that are basic, but perhaps not even thought of. Very helpful worth the money and a good read.
