Excellent Seat for the Money

I never take the time to write a review for the products I purchase - just not time it seems, but this car seat is well worth it. From what I understand, the Britax models all have higher crash standard than the Graco's, Evenflos, etc. Yes, it is pricey, but even me being a penny pincher felt I got every bit of my money's worth. Easy to assemble, easy to install, easy to wash...Plus, I was able to find a dicontinued style (just the maternial was no longer being manufactored in that design) on the internet and that helped with the cost. High recommended.

Not exactly small, but great!

My twins are very comfortable in these seats. We switched when they were about 7.5 months old. My daughter is very petite, and still looked so tiny in the seat when we first moved her. I'm skeptical at the claim that it acommodates as small as 5 lbs, but I suppose I've never tried.

Installation was not difficult once I really understood what was going on. [...]. Just make sure you really sit or kneel on it when you're tightening the LATCH connectors, so that it gets tight enough to not move around.

At any rate, we have two of these, my kids love them, and I can tell they'll be around for a good long time. The harness is easy to operate, the velcro tabs on the side are handy so you aren't always digging the straps out from under the child.

We own two car seats-two babies. The eddie bauer 3-in-one is the worst! We bought this one when my daughter came along...and we LOVE it! It is worth every penny.

We wouldn't buy anything but Britax

This is our second Britax car seat. We started with a Roundabout which we still use in my husband's truck. We upgraded our infant seat in my car (Pontiac Vibe) to the Marathon and it is wonderful. My daughter instantly loved it. We still have her riding backwards at 21pounds, which means we have to be a little careful putting her in only because there isn't a lot of room between the top of the car door frame and the seat but once we got the hang of it putting her in is great. She is very comfortable in the seat and rides well. We have already had to adjust the harness size due to a growth spurt. The adjustment was easy and quick. We would definately encourage others to buy as the whole family likes the seat and Britax safety record is great.

Great Car Seat

This car seat installed solidly into 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee using the LATCH system. However, it did not install as well using the seat belt in our 1997 Saturn SL1. It also worked great when it was installed (forward facing because it would not fit rear facing) in an airplane seat. Overall, I think that it is a very easy seat to install pretty much anywhere.
