So far so good

Bought this tool for the price. Never used a Milwaukee nailer before. I do framing for a living and it works awesome. One note is that I have only had it for a month or so and it does have some plastic parts which may break when the gun drops. The sequential adjust feature is awesome along with the depth adjustment feature.

Light, fast, and so far rugged.

I've had this for a few months. It has driven a lot of nails in that time. It is nice to be able to switch from bump to single shot so easily. I'd call that a safety feature. Since its so easy to switch you actually do. It is really light compared to others. All and all very happy.

A Great Buy

Have been using it for almost 3 months now and it works great...

Great Nailer, Good price

I just recieved it yesterday and used it for a few hours today. The nailer is reasonably light. I am used to working with trim carpentry and those nailers are much smaller and lighter than this one. Once I got the feel for it I did not even notice the weight difference. I shoot left handed even though this is really designed for a righty. I did not have ergonomic issues.

One thing that I can not stand is why Milwaukee can not just include the 3/8 NPT adapter. I pulled it all out of the box and was bummed I had to go to the store to buy an adapter. All of my spares and couplers are 1/4". Another thing I don't understand is why it can not come with a case. I have 3 other nailers and they all came with cases. In its defense it does come with a rafter hook, which is nice but can get in the way if you do not use it. I would rather have a box.

Of course I knew about no box when I bought it. I wanted this nailer and there is no way around it.

I shot approx 300 2-3/8" galvinized coated nails today. They were made by grip-rite and had a collation angle of 21 degrees. The gun says only 22 degree nails should be used. Milwaukee only sells 21 degree. Go figure. Basically if anyone is wondering...most all Round Head framers can use any nail that is 20-22 degrees.

I had zero jams. I was not bump firing so I do know how it would fare with that. I am sure there would be no problem. The gun can be converted to bumb fire with the twist of a knob. Very cool. The slide mechanism is made of plastic and seems little flimsy. It does its job though. The height adjustment is great. It is effortless and tool less and it worked perfect.

I can not imagine this gun having problems with sinking larger nails. I shot every thing at 100psi and it was more than enough to sink these nails deep. Aside from my gripe above the nailer worked perfectly and I would purchase again. If you can live without having a box and running to the store to buy a 3/8 adapter than this gun is of good value.

It really deserves 4.5 stars. Milwaukee, the least you could do is include a 3/8" adapter. Thats just being cheap!

I purchased this nailer to frame a 500 square foot addition to my home. It works perfectly and accepts any 21 or 22 degree nail. It has never jammed or misfired. It even fell off the roof and still fired perfectly. The only thing that would make the review a 5 would be a case and air adapter included in the box.
Shipment was quicker than I expected and the price beat the competitors.
Highly recommended.
