Works like a charm

This gate is exactly what we were looking for. This gate fits extra wide openings. However, you should be aware that you will have to step over this gate to move from one room to the other.

Wonderful!

Highly recommend, only downer is it will peel paint off the bottom of the wall. But it's great and you can easily fix the peeled paint. I'd buy again.

Just what I was looking for...

I love this gate. I bought 2 of them. I didn't want to commit to mounting a gate in just one spot. This gate is versitile and long enough to fit every space I need... door way, between banisters at the bottom of the stairs, banister to wall, and wide hallways. I look forward to taking it to homes of friends and family so that I don't have to sit at the bottom of the stairs to keep my toddler from going up them. It is also easy to clean, store, set up, step over... everything. I wish I had found this gate earlier!

Excellent product

Works great and is light years better than the old wooden ones. If you have a toddler and an area of your house you don't want them, buy this gate.

Perfect!

I needed a gate to keep our new puppy from climbing the stairs, this one is the perfect item and not so tall that we can't easily step over.
