Tae-Bo is GREAT

By now, you've probably heard all you want to hear about Tae-Bo. But if you are still considering purchasing the tapes, you need to do it NOW. I am only 15 years old and I wanted to slim down maybe 20 pounds or so, and I'm telling you, I know that Tae-Bo will help me accomplish that. I was a little apprehensive about moving onto the Advanced tape after the Basic got so easy for me, but now, I can do all of the Advanced and that is just the greatest feeling in the world. Knowing that you actually did something by yourself and your own will. But it's not easy, I'll tell you that. You feel like stopping, but don't! It gets better. There are a lot of reps you do on each exercise, but they don't overworked the muscle. You do just enough to feel it working and then you let the muscle relax. It feels really great. The floor work at the end is great. It will really work your butt, though! Even more than the kickboxing moves. But when you feel your butt all tight...it's great! I especially love how I feel after the workout. I jump in the shower (you really sweat a lot!) then put some lotion on and I feel so healthy and energized! I'm not tired at all, instead I feel so good about myself and once you get that feeling, you almost forget about what you're doing for your body. GET THESE TAPES! Pop some of your fave music on and Tae-Bo. (While I hate to say it, sometimes I can't stand listening to Billy Blanks talk all the time...so I just listen to my own music and keep my eye on the video. It's much better that way, trust me!)

If you don't sweat, it ain't real!

You know...our TV is filled with informercials on how to loose weight, and blah blah...but the core of achieving something is to work hard for it. And this is what Tae Boe is about. I mean, the Advanced one is hard like hell, but hey...you can't just sit and breathe and take energy pills to get results. YOu have to sweat, and Billy Blanks guarantees you this. I would suggest that you go through his beginner tape before moving to the advanced one. The advanced one looks like a boot camp, but with a little scream and belief in yourself, it's great and you can do it. I felt like G.I Jane and i felt so empowered. The only flaw in this workout is the warm-up and cool-down. Billy Blanks gets too excited about the workout, he forgets that we do need to stretch a little more. The live video has a longer warm up than the advanced one, so I would suggest you go first with the Live video warm up and move to the advanced video. Make sure the head stretches are done really carefully, because they might cause you injuries. The music is okay. Depends what kind of music do you like. In the beginning i would suggest that you do not mute Billy and play your own music, because his words alone will affect your workout. WHen he talks, and when you hear people on the video scream, it encourages you and makes you feel that you can do it,and you're sweating and screaming same as those firm, toned bodies on TV. I don't think Billy is very hard to understand. I believe that if you run the tape 1 or two times before actually start working out, you will be able to understand him clearly during work out. It is important that you do see the tape before you start taking any action, because it will make it easier for you to follow. Billy Blanks' Tae Boe is the best thing since Jesus, and if you don't like working that hard to feel better, to look better and to reach your weight lose goals, you might as well stick with GOLF.:)

Comfort Exercise

Advanced Tae-Bo is the only fitness video in my collection I keep coming back to, no matterhow far I have come with my fitness level. It is a great cardio workout if you keep up the boxer shuffle throughout the resting segments and concentrate on using your muscles rather than flailing your arms and legs. The hips, thigh, and abdominal toning segments at the end video hits those oft complained about tough spots. Could use more stretching, but that is something done better on your own time anyways.


Good exercise tape, especially for your lower body

I mainly run outside for my workouts, but Tae Bo is great for rainy days when I can't leave the house, or days when I'm lacking motivation to exercise and I think to myself, "I'll just pop this tape in for a little while and do it as long as I feel like." I always end up doing the entire tape! The time goes by so fast during this workout. Billy Blanks doesn't spend too long on any one exercise, so you don't get bored, but you definitely are breathing hard and "feeling the burn." It is especially toning for your legs. Often, after a run, I just fast forward to the latter part of the tape to do the leg toning exercises to round out my workout. I will go through them once, rewind, then do another set. My butt is looking rounder and firmer these days. I recommend this tape for a good sweat and for great tone.

If you want to get fit and in good shape Tae-bo is your answer,its great,fun and easy to do.The work out video is 57 minutes so get ready to sweat and work those muscles,you'll loose weight in no time.
