The Butter Battle Book

The Butter Battle Book is a very creative and funny book. It is about 2 countries that are fighting because of the way they put butter on bread. It is a 1 man battle for each side because there is 1 man for the Yooks and 1 for the Zooks. There rhyming,onomatopoeia and coined words.

Lovely childrens book!

I LOVED this book. Dr. Seuss has a funny way of connecting to children. He uses lots of writing terms like onomatopoeia, and coined words. I give this book 5 stars because it is educational and has a lot of great humor. It's also a fun book to read with rhymthm, because many words rhyme. All of his books are fun to read. It doesnt matter if your two,or if your fourty!

The Butter Battle Book

An outstanding story that everyone should have the chance to read, no matter their age! Prehaps one of Dr. Suess's best books; it demonstrates the silliness of people in our modern world by symobolizing the Cold War. Two races of Dr. Suess's crazy characters build a wall between them and despise one another becuase they each butter their bread on differnt sides! They each try and outdo each other with fancy high tech weapons. There's no winner in this war, but the book is a medalist!
