Ruben & Ed
HEY WEIRDO--Ruben & Ed is a hard movie to find, but if you do happen across it buy it, rent it, steal it, watch it, over and over and over; it gets funnier each time. The movie details the relationships between two lost souls, maybe three if you count the dead cat, travelling through a Southwestern dessert in search of...their minds, their car, "success"? You really need this seminar...oops, movie. Crispin Glover is awesome as Ruben, an ecclectic 70's throwback who happens to like cat sqeaky toys and platform shoes and Howard Hesseman who plays a convincing Ed--a wanna-be motivational real estate recruiter who's going through some personal dilema's with a crazy ex-wife and a life going nowhere until he meets Ruben. Great dialog and scenary, I can't imagine my life without it.

Their are two movies that you can just watch over and over again. Better off Dead and of course
Rubin
& Ed. You have so many things to make you laugh in this movie, A guy who hasn't left the 70's, a waterskiing cat, the truth about those get rich schemes, and of course the line "I am the king of the Echo people". I've see only 1 out of 100 people that did not like this movie. It is insanely funny and a great way to show the difference of the left and right side of or brains. A must must see
Successssss!
"Success! . . . Real Estate!" is the hilarious opening line of this flick and it's full of witty and insightful dialogue that continues to amuse and amaze me no matter how many times I watch it. "I am the king of the echo-people!" A truly genius film. Like the far-side comic strip, however, you either get it or you don't.

i got the chance to meet trent harris at the olympia film festival. he is a genius. seriously, get together with nine of your friends, pitch in ten bucks each, and buy this video. you will more than likely never find it for rent, because the studio dicked mr. harris over.
All Time Classic
I really have to say this.. "Keep Your Hands Off Other Peoples Refrigerators!"A classic for those who like stupid humor. One piece of advice...if you don't like this movie the first you watch, watch it again! It's really funny if your slap happy tired!Enjoy,Jax
