Rome Adventure
I recently purchased the VHS movie of
Rome
Adventure
. It is simply a gorgeous movie where the young stars of 1962 still enhance the screen with their innocence and charisma. I remember as a young girl of 20, when I first saw this movie. It made me fall in love with it's young stars, Troy Donahue and Susane Plehette. The movie is worth the wonderful scenery of Rome alone, not to mention the feel good love story it tells. The movie is just breathtaking. A must see for those deary rainy days, when you need a good love story to cheer your spirits. I still think this movie can't be beat.

the film's cinematography outweighs the plot of the film. the film's story is too corny and predictable but this film is worth seeing if you want a glimpse of the eternal city... even before you plan to visit Italy. the music score is touching and endearing. i think that suzanne pleshette did very well for a newcomer...and Troy Donahue is not bad to look at... and the song AL-DI-LA will just melt your heart in every way.
gorgeous cinematography...fantastic italy,a skeptic from nyc
i must admit the movie's cinematography outweighs the plot of the film. the plot is too corny in my opinion but, nevertheless, this film is worth seeing if you want a glimpse of the eternal city...even before you plan going to Italy...and Troy Donahue is not bad to look at..and the song AL DI LA can go straight to your heart... if you know what i mean.

Sweet Innocence
Another heart-tugging Delmer Daves production with the usual lush score from Max Steiner. Cinematography sometimes steals the scene from the players. Pleshette never looked more lovlier and vulnerable. A very watchable soap opera.
