I thought that the teleplay was really good. It was exciting, suspensful, and in some parts it was very realistic. I think that anybody would like the teleplay.

Rod Serling surprises many people who were interested in reading and also viewing. Rod was born in Syracuse New York in 1924. The reason why he was so good was because of his past. He was a former boxer and a PE teacher. He loved to read science fictions books. He created a good book called The
Monsters
are
Due
on
Maple
Street
. It took place in a town in the United Stated. It was normal town in a normal neighborhood. It took place on a street called Maple Street. It was a normal name for a street back in the 1950's. I don't think that I have never see a Maple Street in my life. The characters in this book where Charlie and Steve. Charlie thought that he knew everything. Steve was a very wise man.
The title The Monsters are Due on Maple Street was a very fitting title. I thought that there could not have been a better title for this book. It was about how a regular street needs to open up more. When the monsters came down they tried to use fear to stop them. It ended up working pretty well. `Their world is full of Maple Streets. And we'll go from one to the other and let them destroy themselves.'[684] Figure One says.
The thing that I did not like about this book was the characters and the setting. To me I really don't think that there is a street like this one, Maple Street, in the United States. I felt that it was not real. I think that neighbors are real close or they never talk to each other. There were also a lot of Maple Streets back in the 1950's that is the only thing that was realistic to me. `Maple Street, USA' [668] the Narrator's voice said.
The lesson in the book, The Monsters are Due on Maple Street, was one that everyone should know and never forget. The lesson in this book that Rod Serling, the author, gave us was to not accuse someone for doing something somebody did not do. Must of the
time
in the United States and in the world is we accuse people for doing something that people did not do. There are many people who are innocent in jail and now they have to spend their rest of their life in jail.
I felt that this was a pretty good book. There were some parts that I did not like, but more I liked then didn't. I think that the author had a good lesson. I would recommend this people to other people because of how the author got the message crossed. I liked the movie better that the teleplay. The teleplay I did not understand that well because I could not hear everyone in the classroom when they were reading. My favorite part of the book was when Pete Van Horn died. I worse part of the book was at the beginning of it.
