A new classic

This is such a moving and compelling story....well researched and truly will be a new classic!

True love with no boundries and limits.

This story is about real and true love! Seth gives up a perfect existance and does so of his own free will to know and experience the love he has for Maggie. The emotions that flow from the screen are deep and romantic. And . . . without giving away the end Seth gave up his perfect existance without regret just to know and feel the love he has for Maggie. A truly wonderful love story!

One of my favorite, watch everytime it is on T.V!! I truly enjoyed the movie, and have probably watched it 5 times already.

Stands the test of time

This is not a great movie, but a good one. And it certainly stands the test of time. I watched it again the other day after several years went by and it was therefore, new to me again. What struck me primarily was the performance of Nicholas Cage, who is utterly believable in his role as Seth, the angel. He has a purity about him, in his gaze and mannerisms, that make you believe he IS the silent observer, there to guide humans during times of crisis. Meg Ryan, however, has the more difficult role to play and it's a little tough to believe the casting of this young beauty as an established surgeon. Still, the premise of the movie, that there are angels among us, is intriguing, and worth the 90 minute viewing session.
