Book Review
Maniac had no family and no home. Until one day he found Amanda. Amanda is a color girl that he meets on the street. Maniac is a white guy that moves to the West End to look for a home. The West End were the black people live. Maniac made a lot of people think about racism.
Theme: The Theme in this story was about racists because Mars Bar was Black and Maniac was white. The black people couldn't stand white people.
From this book I learn that it doesn't matter the color to find a friend, the most important think is the way they think about you.
I like this book because it show me a lot. Like
don't be racist with other people. I didn't like when Mars Bar wanted to get into a fight with Maniac.

Maniac
Magee
This summary is about a boy that runs away from home and that does not have parents and money his name is Maniac Magee he is poor and his white and has been discriminated he found a girl in the street and made her a friend her name was Amanda.
The theme of this story is about discrimination and racism they discriminate a lot to maniac.
What I learned from this story was that I should never discriminate someone just because of their color of skin or because they don't have any parents. Also I learned that even though he does not have parents he tried to look for his future so that's what I learned about this story.

what i think of maniac magee
I thought the book was good, but i didn't like the ending. It just leaves you hanging. The rest of the book was exciting and adventureous. I hope there is a second book, because I want to read it.

Maniac Magee
As a kid
Magee
's parents die in a car crash. In an instant he became an orphan. He was sent to his aunt and uncle. One day he was doing a play on stage, he froze, then he ran away and never went back home. But he eventually met a girl named Amanda Beale; she is a little black girl. At the end of the story
Maniac
stays with Amanda and her family, and once again he has a place to call home. The theme of this story is homelessness because for a long while in the book Maniac Magee doesn't have a hom. He stays in parks, zoos, and even the buffalo pin. The moral of this book is that you should never give up because in the story all the time he spends running away, and staying in places a normal person would never stay, he never once gave up hope. There was only one thing that I disliked about the book Maniac Magee and that's the ending. I don't know I guessed I expected more from the ending, for it to end dramatically. But never the less the book was great and I enjoyed it.
