Fascinating Stories!

The Tintin books are fascinating in their simple and easy to understand details and plot. I'm thirteen years old, and I must say that these books are some of my favorites to read when I'm tired. They are mysteries, but fun to read over and over. My favorite so far is probably "Tintin and the Broken Ear," "The Black Island," or "Explorers on the Moon." These are books for all ages of people, and I disagree with a review stating that the print was hard to read, I started reading these books when I was eight or nine, and I never found the print difficult, though that is my own personal experience. These books are a treasure!

One of the best books for young readers

In addition to inculcating a sense of adventure in young readers the Tintin series helps young readers transition from picture books to regular prose. I first read the entire series in the 70's and am now buying them for my kid.

Action-Packed-Fun

All three of these books are very entertainning to read----for all ages. They can be educational as well. My class used Tintin in America in our study of the Old American West. It was Great Fun!

One of the older, more comical books. Quite good.

When tintin arrives in chicago in the beginning of Tintin in america, we start out on one of the best tintin books ever. Allthough more unbelievable than some of the later, more down to earth of Herge's books, the book is quite entertaining and fun. The story changes quite rapidly when the indian scene comes up, and when the indian grounds change into a metropolotin city over night, but this book, is still one of the best. Bye Lars N
