The Out-of-Sync Child: Recognizing and Coping with Sensory Processing Disorder, Revised Edition

If you even think that your child may have SPD this is the book to buy. It explains things in a not so technical-medical way. This is a book that should be considered the bible of SPD! This book has helped us deal with my daughter and helped her school understand and help her as well! I can't say enough GREAT things! I highly recommend this!

Comprehensive and Understandable

I found this book to be one of the most readable books out there on the topic (sensory processing disorder). Not only was it valuable to me as an occupational therapist but I can recommend it to parents whose children I work with. I know they will get the information without too much medical jargon and with helpful strategies and resources.

This book is a great resource for parents whose children are experiencing these sensory issues. It helps define the child's behavior and helps you begin to get a grip on and gain understanding of what you can do to help your child. I highly recommend it.
