In this book Gary Chapman teaches you about the five languages of love. Each one of us is generally dominated by one love language and a lesser mix of the other four. Two people who share the same dominant love language generally get along much better than those dominated by different ones.

I found this book fun to read and very insightful. I'd never really thought about our 'love personalities and types' before, and Gary Chapman's book has made me think about these things and opened my eyes as to how to have a more deep and meaningful relationship. It really does dig into an area of relationships that most of us didn't even really know existed.

Love my husband, but we had problems. I wasn't recieving what I need to love him the way he needed to be loved. It's a must read for anyone who wishes to have the marriage that the Lord intended.

The book is an easy read (and I don't like to read). It shares life examples that can be applied to anyone's situation. I read the men's edition because that is what was availible to me it was just as helpful and I believe other than comments at the end of each chapter the main text is the same as the regular version.

Nice to know how to show love to my kids

I really enjoyed this book. It helps to know how my children feel loved. I have a child that feels love by receiving words of affirmation and another that feels love by physical touch. I especially liked the chapter about discipline. I don't think parents discipline enough and when they do, they do it wrong according to this book. There is a way to discipline while still showing love to your kids. It is our responsibility to discipline our children if we want them to grow up and be responsible adults. If we don't discipline them, we are only hurting them in the long run.

This is a really good book!

I'm about half way done with the book and I'm learning so much from it. This book explains alot of the questions I have about the things my boyfriend does. It's a good book for someone who is looking for answers but, like me, is a little shy to ask.The next step is getting my boyfriend to read it.
