Absolutely Amazing

I've never read a book that was so positive motivational and inspirational. I don't have the words to express what this book has done for my outlook.

Classic self-help

I've often said that we should be given an instruction manual as a child, and then I found Joe Vitale's book. Full of wisdom and tips for leading a successful life, I quoted from "Life's Missing Instruction Manual" in my book, "So, You Are In The People Business." I get this book out periodically when I need inspiration.

Quite dull, and quite over-rated

Joe Vitale is an obvious sales-person. That he sells in the cathegory of "Making other people feel good" does not take away from that fact. He is a salesman. I feel I wasted my time and money on this trite, regurgiated collection of articles and wise-guy essays.

Good Coffee Table Book

This book does not require much more than passing attention. Its sort of like watching TV while doing something else, and then momentarily paying attention to an interesting commercial. There are some good insights in the book, but you have to dig for them. I received this as a gift, and found I just flipped through it while waiting for a tv show to come on. It would be good for a coffee table in a home of office.
