Boynton's Best

My wife and I received this board book from a co-worker of mine about three months before our first son was born -- almost nine years ago. A daughter and another son later, this remains my favorite children's board book and definitely a favorite of my three children during their first couple of years. The tempo, simplicity and fun illustrations captivated them. Even though the books has been chewed, drooled on and worn down, it is one of those books that we'll save for our grandchildren because it holds special memories of what must be nearly a thousand readings that produced joyful smiles and laughter from our three children. We love Sandra Boynton books and we rate this one the best of all.

Love this book

This book is adorable! The story is fun and the illustrations are awesome. My daughter loves it and so do I!

Over and over and over and over!!!

I don't even know where we originally got this book. But I do know this: it was the best book of my son's late infancy. He just ADORED that book. I read it to him so many times that I had it memorized. And when he would melt down in public, I would begin reciting it to him: "Stomp your feet and clap your hands, everybody ready for a barnyard dance!" And as I would say the words he would quiet and listen, every single time. I am so grateful to have gotten this book and I will always look at it fondly. Our copy is taped up with multiple kinds of tape and still to this day--he is two, now--remains one of our favorites. I definitely recommend it and I hope you get as many hours of enjoyment out of it as we have. I've read it over and over and over again and I still enjoy the words. A clever little book, darling little illustrations and a perfect cocktail for quieting even the most angry baby in public. ;)

A Fun Read For All

I got this for my nephew and we always have a great time reading this together. It has great rhythm and rhyme, and the drawings are so cute! Great fun for kids and adults a like.

Wonderful book for babies and mroe!

This oversized board book has been one of my son's most favorite books since he was 6 months old. He loves it! It Rhymes. It features fun animals, dancing and sounds. It makes a great gift. Should be owned by every toddler!
