The People Have Spoken

I don't care what the critics say and somehow I don't think Paul Potts is singing for them anyway. I love this CD despite all its flaws. Just like we love people, even critics : ), for the same reason.

I can't say how wonderful he is any better than what others have said. I also can't explain the chills and tingling I get when I hear him sing and my husband can't believe I cried so hard the first time I saw his You Tube video. He was concerned and had to check my computer screen because he thought there must be something horrible onscreen to make me cry like that.

Paul Potts is the best thing Simon Cowell's ever done, this man is his redeemer. To see the look on Simon's face on You Tube during Paul's audition really showed Simon's humanity and true wish for talented people to succeed. It was stunning to see that Paul touched him that much also.

I had the same knot in my stomach, the same feeling of dread that everyone else had when Paul announced he was going to sing opera. I believe ordinary people feel that way about opera because somehow we instinctively know that something that should be for all people has been polished and perfected so much that the touching beauty of opera is often missing for commoners. To me Paul's story is something worthy of an opera itself, perhaps this is what comes through in his voice.

Paul will do more for opera than any other technically correct singer has ever done. His talent hasn't even matured and it still makes the girls cry.

There is something in this man's soul that simply cannot be replicated or taught and it comes through on a recording, on TV, and even out of my tiny computer speakers and electrifies my soul. Even more than that, Paul makes me believe in myself, too.

Paul Potts rise to fame has been a God-send for me. He has a beautiful voice and performs all the songs with a heart warming talent that has captured the attention of many many thousands of people across the world. His is the story of fame that is dreamed by many, accomplished by few. I applaud Simon Cowell for recognizing the natural talent of Paul, giving him the opportunity to make Paul's dream come true. I bought his CD as soon as it hit the market, I listen to it everyday. I surely am a fan. Thanks Paul for giving me a part of you--your incredible voice.

This cd is so beautiful. Paul Potts has an incredible voice, and he puts magic in every track of this charming collection.

A hidden jewel

This man has a wonderful voice. He is very shy and unassuming, but when he starts to sing, it's like the clouds parting. Saw a clip about him on the internet and was curious. Very glad I investigated. Well worth having.

Paul Potts delivers

After I saw Paul Potts on the YouTube video, I ordered his CD. He definitely delivers on his first CD, which I am sure will not be his last. I especially love his version of Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. This is not all opera, in fact, maybe only 25 percent. It is a very enjoyable CD and makes me smile each time I listen to it.
