Beautiful Movie, Music & Scenery

Fell in love all over again with the movie, music and Rome. I am enjoying watching this movie over and over again just as I did when it came out in 1962! I had never been to Rome when movie was first released. Since that time, I have visited Italy twice. While there, the song Al-di-la went through my mind many times and it was fun to recognize so many places that I had seen in the movie. Rome Adventure is a wonderfully romantic and delightful story. Suzanne Pleshette, Troy Donahue, Angie Dickinson and Rossano Brazzi all made Rome a most enjoyable adventure. Sure hope it will be available on DVD in the near future.

Always wanted a Vespa scooter ever since I saw this film

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I love the scenery, the naive innocence of Prudence, the all-American boy in Troy Donahue, and the topsy-turvy love story. Al-Di-La has been one of my favorite songs ever since before I saw this movie, and I have 5-6 different versions of it, including a version by Al Hirt and the original by Emilio Pericoli. Recently, I purchased my own Vespa scooter to feel a little bit of the romance that I felt when I first saw this movie in 1962. When I ride my Vespa, I imagine what it must have felt like to see that beautiful scenery in Italy from a Vespa.

I'm fifty-eight years old and still love it!
A great romantic movie with gorgeous scenery and music.

i have only seen this movie on tv. i wish to own it on dvd.i loved this movie. i could watch it over and over.i only wish i could see other movies like parrish and susan slade come into being on dvd.can you some how tell hollywood or who decides what movie is to be put on dvd that your costomers are looking for these movies. thank you. if these movies become available on dvd in the future please e-mail me. thanks again. grace belinda jump

great movie but Italy is the star

I saw this movie when it originally came out in the theater - maybe 4 or 5 times going because of Donahue who was big at the time and ended up falling in love with the beautiful cities and sites of Italy. It was a good story with good acting with a couple of lessions learned. I keep checking for the DVD. PLEASE PUT IT OUT IN DVD format.... when???? sooner rather than later!!
