Root (Woot) for the Underdog

In this story, the Wodney Wat starts out as timid and tucked inside himself because he was teased for who he was. As the book progresses, he becomes happier with himself and is able to have fun with all the students. That was the happy ending, in my opinion.

Wodney is little rat that cant pronounce the letter r.But over all he is and always minds his own bisness,when he goes to school the kids always laugh at him and make fun of him.So the only reason why i chose this book was because it was funny and it tought me to never be mean to someone before i get to know them.Also i thought it should have won an award,so if you read this youll know what iam talking about.

This book is a good book for pre-schoolers to 1st graders.this book is about a Rat that can't pronounce his r's and is being teased.One day a big mean rodent came to school.All the rodents were scared.When Wodney was playing a game the big rodent did wrong and headed west.And all the rodents chanted Hooway for Wodney Wat.

This book was funny and interesting what made it so interesting why it was so funny was because the author described things and made it funny what made it interesting was also they described it and made it easy to picture!!

Wodney Wat Review

This is one of my favorite children's books. It is interesting because Helen Lester uses a fictional story to describe bullies. Wodney uses his speaking disability to make Camilla seem like she has lost her mind. Wodney ends up saving everyone from Camilla when he tells them to take a rest. Since Camilla doesn't know Wodney is not able to say his r's she begins to walk west. The illustrations in the book are well drawn and show movement in them.
