Things start to come together

In the latest book of the Twilight series, things finally begin to come together and seem more realistic. Twilight introduced readers to Edward, the Cullens, and how Bella fell in love with Edward. New Moon introduced us to Jacob Black and his clan of werewolves. Now, in Eclipse, Bella is beginning to figure things out. She realizes the two worlds which she became a part of in the previous books cannot coexist. Although Bella loves both Edward and Jacob (she has finally realized it), she must choose. Now she finally starts to think about whether or not she really wants to be a vampire for eternity. She knows that Jacob can offer her things which Edward can't, such as a chance at a normal life and a family, but her undying love for Edward remains. Overall, Meyer has written a very compelling story line in her third book.

But, aside from the excellent story, the Characters become much more developed. Bella finally starts thinking things through, rather than always rushing into trouble. She stands up to Edward, and admits that she is in love with Jacob. The reader also gets to know the history of almost all the important characters. Some of the big mysteries are revealed, and it becomes easier to relate to and understand Stephenie's characters.

The Twilight series seems to be maturing in its own way, making it even more enjoyable (if that's possible) than it was before. The third book, Eclipse, was great to read and left me anticipating the fourth book. Not a disappointment at all, anyone who enjoyed Twilight and New Moon will love this book.

Great book! Great Author!

Stephenie Meyer still has my attention! I cannot wait until August for the last book of the series...however, I know I will be sad that the saga is over!

If you have read any of the other Twilight books, and are thinking of not reading this one because New Moon was not that great. You are wrong. This book brings back the greatness and experience that was felt while reading Twilight. It goes on an epic adventure as old enemies surface again such as Victoria and The Volturi. Victoria has come back to avenge her mate James, by killing Bella in return. In addition, during this book you learn about dark mysterious past of Jasper. Victoria starts to wreck havoc in Seattle, which brings The Volturi to investigate. As time is growing shorter, Edward a hard decision on whether he should run with Bella, or change her as he promised The Volturi.

Not bad I enjoyed it

It wasn't bad. I bought it because of the movie coming out and I wanted to read more about it. It was decent.
