THE THIRD CIRCLE

This story is another in the Archane Society series. Learning about the founding of The Society from inception and following the family to the present is always a good read (or listen). Look forward to more from Amanda Quick. (Jayne Ann Krentz)

Great Amanda Quick Book

I read the book as soon as I received it. Loved it. It is well written and holds your interest through the whole book. I would recommend it.

Peek into the past

In the fourth venture into the Arcane Society we are given some facts about its origins. However, Quick did a better job with her earlier books explaining how the Arcane Society functions. If this book were the first one picked up a new reader, I believe he or she would be lost, as Quick doesn't thoroughly explain the background information truly needed for understanding.

The plot is decent and the characters likable, but the story didn't overwhelm me to the point where I couldn't put the book down. Earlier Aracane Society books did a better job of grabbing my attention. Overall an okay read for someone who is familiar with the main points of the storyline.
