A great book with the right stuff.

I've read Corky Bell's "Maximum Boost" and this new book by Warner is far superior. Where Bell includes a lot of personal opinion and unsubstantiated information, Warner sticks completely to the facts. Better yet, Warner's book is much more up-to-date, with current information on components, EFI, and tuning. It's a model of clear and precise writing. Anyone seriously interested in turbocharger systems should get this book.

The quintessential sourcebook on street turbocharging!

I thought Corky Bell's book was good, but this book just eclipses it entirely. It gives you all the information surrounding all aspects of turbocharging, supporting systems and their integration.

The case studies at the back are fantastic, and varied even including a turbo-diesel setup for a land-speed record. It gives you all the various equations on how to chooose and size your turbo for various performance applications.

I am an engineer involved in performance car modifications, and I thoroughly recommend this book as part of anyone's refernce library!!

Great Book on Boost!

It is a great book i havent had time to read the whole thing yet, but from what ive read its a good book. It shows different project cars, everything from a turbo mustang they built to a road pounding 600 whp front wheel drive honda civic. It is a must if you really want to understand turbo systems in depth. If youre into turbocharging then its a great book to have. A+

Excelent for learning about the turbos with the last information available

I think that this book is meaby the best in the market in the Turbo Area that it is selling today , and if you add that is was release anly at june 2006 , you can notice that it have the last information available in the tech area.

I liked it.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because It was very light on the carb modifications and cam selection. I really liked the project vehicle section. Everything is layed out nicely and for a newcoming would be great.
