I love all of Sue Grafton's books and this one is no exception. Great reading.This is an invaluable die for scrapbooking.

I don't know how I missed this as we read all her books, it was a good read, moved quickly and kept you in suspense till the surprise ending. we share the books I buy thru Amazon and the line has formed for this book.

not up to par

I will start out by saying that there was nothing wrong with the mystery aspect of the novel. It was good except I thought it spent too much time back in 1953. It was a little annoying. The main reason I love the Kinsey Milhone stories is well because of Kinsey's fiesty personality, her tendancy to be crabby, and her all around attitude about life and the people in it. In this book, it could really have been written about any other detective because you really did not see any of Kinsey's personality in it anywhere. There were maybe two statements that showed off her personality and the rest was just hum drum. I thought Q is for Quarry was my least favorite book but I think this one just topped it out. Please go back to letting Kinsey solve present day crimes that shows off her many talents and leave the far off past in the far off past.
