Oster 6684 12 -Speed blender

After lengthy comparison shopping, this blender was not only the least expensive, but had the toughness and durability needed to make smoothies with tons of ice. More expensive models had plastic blade components, this one is steel and really does the job nicely. I've owned professional grade blenders that cost a fortune and did not work as well.

Blender

Had blender for about a year. Kids love it for making their smoothies. Does every thing we want it to. I think this one was rated high in CR. Hope it lasts.

Solid Project

I am happy with the ease of use this provides for me. It does well with ice and frozen fruit. I recommend this to anyone.

Haven't used base yet

I have an older Oster 10 speed that looks like this one but it runs much quieter. I bought this one because the plastic blender jar was cracking pretty bad on my old one. So now I use the glass jar on my old base and it works fine. Also, you may wish to look closely at the buttons on this black model - they are very green!
