Preschool Computer Lab Teacher = Thumbs Up!

I have taught preschool computer lab for two years and have successfully used this software with my 1, 2 & 3 year old students during both school years. I love this software because no mouse clicks are required - only moving the mouse which greatly increases my students hand-eye coordination with the mouse.

I currently have 10 PC's in my lab and run the Toddler software on 6 machines - I love it that much! (Note: I have successfully used this software on both Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional operating platforms).

1 & 2 year old students enjoying coloring on screen, while my 3 year old students enjoy the Alphabet train & matching shapes in the clouds. I found that my older 3 year old students and my 4-5 year old students become bored of this game rather quickly so I don't generally offer it to them - they need more of a challenge.

Overall, I'd recommend this software to anyone with young preschoolers (under 3.5 years old) who especially need to work on mouse skills. This game is great for working on mouse skills without the pressure of understanding how to "point and click".

She loves it

I bought this after reading the other reviews here...and they are right on the mark. My daughter is not even 2 1/2 yet and she goes looking for the disc all the time. (She even stuck it into the computer today by herself...have to do something about that!) I sit and do it with her, but she can also now do some of the games herself....coloring, bubble game, flashlight game. And she has only had it a short while. She uses the mouse and then starts hitting the keyboard when she tires of the mouse. Both work. And they don't have to click the mouse...just move it. I'm very happy with the purchase.

My kids love this!

All three of my kids have played this for hours on end. I love it because it's easy enough for them to navigate around the diffent activities so I don't have to stand next to them and help them through it.

Gradually my son showed improvements

My son son is 15 months old. Initially he didn't like this very much, but gradually he started liking different games. Instead of punding the keyboard, now he started to type. He has also started to use mouse in the color book. There is no problem with using this in windows xp. (the cd which I received tells that "now works with windows xp"), so make sure to get that version. Even though he playes different games, he plays for a short time and then he gets distracted, he stops playing. I am not sure whether this is due to his behaviour or because of the product. As an adult, I can say the games in the CD were designed correctly, but somehow my son doesn't gets fully involved for a long time, so I am giving 4 stars otherwise 5 stars.
