Greatest Workout Ever!
This is absolutely the best workout I've ever done! I've had this tape forever it seems, and have recently searched high and low to find it on DVD - and success! You can purchase this on DVD at: [...]
What makes this workout so perfect for me is it's "simple" moves - no dancing around or combinations to remember, just back to
basics
jogging, lunges, jumping jacks, curls, etc. You can't beat it! I've tried many many other
firm
workouts, and although I've found all of them very challenging and rewarding, this one tops them all and I can't stop myself from going back to it. It can also be split up into 2 nearly equal 30 minute segments if you want to break it up per day or have less time for a workout.
Yes the outfits and studio are a little dated, but Susan Harris is a great instructor and will keep you motivated throughout. All that is needed is dumb-bells and ankle weights (optional) and if you can grab a hip width length of a 2x4 from someplace, that's great too for some of the squat positions.
Enjoy the workout!

Wonderful!
I lost 20 pounds using this tape. I told my aunt and my uncle's wife to get this tape if they want to seriously loose weight. This work out will change the shape of your
body
. If you do this tape 5 times a week you will get real results. I was going to the gym, but I got tired of not getting the results I want. I prefer to look like a dancer, not a body builder. I love Susan Harris, she is a unique instructor. I admire her energy and discipline! This tape is no joke. Only the strong survive this work out!!!If you are lazy do not try this tape....
EXCELLENT WORKOUT!
I have been working out to this video since i had my son... 11 years ago!
I recommend it to ANYONE trying to lose & maintain weight. I gained over 50 pounds when i was pregnant... I lost ALL of my weight + 15 more doing this workout. I wish it were on dvd... but I will keep my vcr around just for this workout!

The Best
There just isn't a better workout video than this. If you want results, buy this video. If you want to look
firm
and toned and lean, not bulked up, this is the video to buy. It is so much better than the newer (I think dumbed-down) Firm videos. It's tough, and it's worth it. Susan Harris is excellent.
I may be spoiled but
In spite of all the comments stating that the 80's theme was interfering with this workout, I didn't notice any such thing. Sure, the costumes are from the 80s, but the music is easy on the ears. Instructor doesn't have puffy hair and overall my qualms aren't in that area. The tape was apparently designed to make you break a sweat, and sure works great on that. However I didn't feel like I was actually working from deep inside my muscles, the exercises seemed repetitive and too fast. Lots of running-like aerobics. I'm naturally thin, so I look to fitness DVDs for muscle definition, not losing fat. This one I'm sure works well on fatty tissues and if you can stand the pain.. To sum it up I more and more appreciate my Cindy Crawford fitness DVDs. You don't feel like a rabbit on steroids and you still get a nice workout and definition in all the right areas. After reviewing about 10 of the top rated workout systems I found on Amazon her dvds remain to be my favorites.
