Best Book I've Read in Years!

I'm an avid reader and I can honestly say this is the best book I've read in years! I laughed, I cried, and I learned. The stories are very interesting and insightful. I hated when I finished the book--it's the kind of book you just want to go on and on. Another cool aspect of the book is there is a website for additional info on many of his subjects/stories.

This is such an amazing book for all Believers! It is a personal journey shared to provide encouragment and reinforcement to all those who want to have a more intimate relationship with God. I related so much with his walk with God and the enemy. I listened to it on Audio CD and it was like listening to a friend and it just encouraged me in my pursuit of God and his will for my life. Highly recommend for all who desire to have a closer walk with God.

One of John Eldgedge's deeper books....he takes you in your faith to the next level....his books are a journey, both in your past, as well as the present and the future.

He is one of the best writers, because he is real in sharing both not only the victories and success of his life, but also the struggles and failures.

This book takes you deep within your soul, of how to have an intimate relationship with the God of the universe....and how he speaks to us...

Takes it all deeper

Since starting with Wild at Heart, I have read all of John Eldredge's books and found them all to be a challenge to my previous beliefs. They took me away from traditional theology and on the path to understanding myself and my relationship with God.

Walking with God is a marvelous book with many great stories within it. I still have trouble with getting God's voice on the mundane decisions in life, but without question it is the way to hear the important answers to your most intimate questions.

I have read the book once and suspect that with all of his other books it needs to be read 2 or 3 times to get the full impact.
