she is still the most fancy
my niece is into
fancy
Nancy
big time!!! It really helped her to start learning foreign languages. We just tell her that Fancy Nancy knows all the words and she needs to keep learning hers. She is five, and so far it works, we'll see what happens in a couple of years. Very cute book!!!
What a wonderful, positive book series for little girls!
When I saw the book "
Bonjour
Butterfly
" in a local toy store, the thing that pulled me to take a closer look was the amazing, intricate art work. The artist has a keen eye for bringing out the emotion, joy and character of a very dramatic little girl. When I opened the book and started to read, I was impressed by the subtle way new and more difficult words were being introduced. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I knew this would be perfect for her. I have since purchased all 3 "
Fancy
Nancy
" books and my daughter INSISTS we read each one in order every night! She has taken to wearing her beads, sunglasses and "fancy" shoes wherever we go. A true fancy girl, indeed!
I recommend this book for little girls with a 100% approval. It is fun, entertaining and informational.

Love it
We received
Fancy
Nancy
for a gift at Christmas and I purchased this one and the post puppy after discovering my daughters love for Fancy Nancy. She loves this book. We read it almost every night. She will be 3 in a few months. Adorable!
Fancy Nancy, Bonjour Butterfly
I bought this book for my 5 year old granddaughter and it is quickly becoming one of her favorites. A fun book that I would recommend for all the
fancy
little girls in your life.
Buy The Other Fancy Nancy Books First
This book is ok. I don't feel it captured the spirit of the first 2, and my daughter (4) only asked to be read it once. I thought the storyline was a bit weak, even for a children's book. My daughter much prefers Posh Puppy to all the other
Nancy
books, and yes we have them all. My advice is to get this one last, unless your daughter is interested in butterflies. Mine likes dogs, hence Posh Puppy......

I think I also would have been happier if Nancy's mom had gotten Bree a present that could only be bought from the
butterfly
garden, and perhaps promised to get them together at the Kings Crown, or similar. I understand things come up in life, but if I were in this situation I would make sure my daughter and her friend got to do something special together to make up for my error in forgetting the anniversary party until the last minute - after both girls had worked hard planning the birthday party together.
On the plus side, I know what R.S.V.P stands for in French. :-D I knew it meant "respond for reservation" but I didn't know the French translation.
