The New Harry Potter

I am sure that many of you guys have heard people say that the Twilight Series is the new Harry Potter and I couldn't agree more. I was one of the people who jumped on the band wagon with Twilight a month or two after the first book was released. i instantly fell in love with it (and Edward). Though I utterly despise Edward now and have high lighted every action/words that have made me want to slap him if he were real, these books are still lovely. If you are stuck between this series and another, take it from me (because I have real decision making problems, I know it's better if someone makes the choice for you) choose this one; it will be worth it. And, don;t forget to read with a critical eye. ~Fire is better than ice...GO TEAM JACOB!!!!!~

Stephanie's Best Book so far!!!

Out of all Twilight series books this one is my favorite so far. I love how you get to know each character even more than you do in the first two books. It just makes me want to read them all over and over and over again!

For being a young adult book, these are amazing, I have made all my family read them.

Loved it, but still have some qualms.

Okay, so I'm 29 but I love this whole series. Overall I had some serious issues with Eclipse. However, it didn't stop me from getting sucked in. In all honesty, I couldn't put the book down.

My qualms: Bella needs to give everyone a break on her love for Edward. It didn't come off as healthy or equal in anyway. She appeared obsessive and spineless. The fact that Edward could order her around in "her best interest" was really too much. Bella either needs a brain to deal with her own situations or she needs to listen better to her parents and her friends.

Also, I thoroughly like Jacob. But, I didn't like the idea of him pressing his "love" on her such as the kissing scene, etc. If someone did this to me in real life - I would be livid. It's easy to write about it thinking it will come off as cute but in this case - definitely not. And while I'm complaining - I could have done without Bella's non-stop panting after Edward.

All that said, I can't wait for number four. I hope she does a better job and we get some of Twilight back into it. Happy reading!
