BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT! I GET SOOO SAD WHEN I SEE CRAP LIKE EVERY SEASON OV "FULL HOUSE" ON DVD & THIS WONDERFUL FILM IS STILL ON VHS!! I LOVE THIS FILM! I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN EVEN DESCRIBE THIS FILM IN WORDS.. RUBIN, AN ANTI-SOCIAL SHUT-IN WHO DESPERATELY MISSES THE COMPANY OV HIS DEAD CAT.. ED, AN ANGER MANAGEMENT CASE NOBODY WHO IS LOOKING TO IMPROVE HIS SELF-WORTH & GET RICH QUICK TO WIN BACK THE HEART OV HIS EX-WIFE.. RUBIN GETS NO MUSIC UNLESS HE CAN MAKE A "FRIEND".. ED GETS NO MONEY UNLESS HE CAN BRING A NEW RECRUIT HIS SUCCESS SEMINAR.. THEY MEET UNDER CHANCE CIRCUMSTANCE & BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THEY ARE LOST & STRANDED IN THE DESERT WITH RUBIN LOOKING FOR A GOOD PLACE TO BURY HIS CAT.. My Cat Can Eat A Whole Watermellon!

What kinda movie has dialog like that? Napoleon Dynamite is a close second. This classic must be brought to DVD!

A few years ago I spoke with the Director, (called the phone number on his website). He would not discuss the exact reason why the movie isn't being released on DVD. But, he did offer to sell me a dubbed copy!

Find it, get it, watch it!

Is the film lost??

Maybe this is a rumor, or maybe not. I have no facts to back this up... but I heard the reason this movie is not available on DVD, or new on VHS for that matter, is because the original film footage is lost or stolen.

I purchased a VHS version "used" here before for a reasonable cost, and it was a dub copy, so I sent it back. Now I wish I kept it! I think most of the original VHS copies floating around are rental shop copies, which they charged the $80 price tag for.

Why don't you keep your hands off other people's refrigerators!

One of my favorite Crispen Glover movies. Trent Harris has created in my mind one of the best buddy movies ever. You can get this on DVD from Trent Harris's website website at http://www.cc.utah.edu/~th3597/r&e.htm super cool movie!

Andy Warhol sucks a big one

Very interesting but strange buddy movie. This movie isn't for everyone but it's a must have for Crispin Glover fans of fans of oddball comidies in general. Unfortunately this is not out on DVD and it probably never will be. Couldn't tell you why this has never been released on DVD, everything else basically is. This is definately worth having and it's getting hard to find so you might want to grab this classic cult comedy while you can.
