All 9 Episodes In The Chronicles Have Now Been Released

A lot of people are going to disagree with me on this, but here is the list for the complete Star Wars chronicles- all 9 episodes we've been promised for ages- all now available on dvd:

1. The Phantom Menace (1999)- Episode One

2. Attack Of The Clones (2002)- Episode Two

3. Revenge Of The Sith (2005)- Episode Three

4. A New Hope (1977)- Episode Four

5. The Star Wars Holiday Special (aka Life Day Celebration)-
(Nov.1978) - Episode Five (Face it, it has the same real characters from
Star Wars- Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Chewbacca, R2D2,
C3PO, etc., and it has a plot (a silly one) and is not a cheap
cartoon, therefore, it is considered part of the continuing saga.)

6. The Empire Strikes Back - (1980) - Episode Six

7. Return Of The Jedi (1983) - Episode Seven

8. Ewoks Adventure: Caravan of Courage (1984) - Episode Eight

9. Ewoks Adventure: The Battle For Endor (1985) - Episode Nine
(These 2 Ewoks movies are available on a 2-on-1 dvd. If these Ewoks
played such a huge part in the Return Of The Jedi movie, then why
can't these 2 movies be considered episodes 8 and 9? They are the
same Ewoks, not a cheap cartoon, and deserve to be part of the
continuing saga.)

Since George Lucas has now declared there will not be anymore Star Wars
episodes/movies (perhaps a tv series in the future), I have declared the above 9 episodes to now be the complete Star Wars chronicles- and it cannot and will not ever be changed.

Great Bonus footage for the Star Wars fan!

I would reccommend this set to anyone still using the VHS version of this. I couldn't believe my eyes what I'd been missing in the way of extras and special effects. A must buy!

Geroge Lucas Ohter Great Master Piece

I remember these movies as much as I remember Indiana Jones and I feel that these two will always be the greatest works from George Lucas that I grew up with. I know it sounds hypocritical of me after my review of Indiana Jones but I feel that the new cgi effects Lucas added to these three movies was not all that bad. I say my main reason is that these were science fiction films and to that affect you wanted to see great star fighter battles and incredible technological effects and to that the new Cgi effects did a spectacular job true to some real hard-core fans that maybe a form of taboo to change some of the film but as a few other reviewers are saying as well the movies are owned by Lucas and it is his right to change it how he sees fit. I also agree with some reviewers
that the new trilogy that came after are not as great but most of the
time people can never make a copy or a remake of something that was as good as the first. I say now if you haven't got this box set yet the price is good at this time so buy it today

Quality Collection

This is only the 3 first movies, I mean, the IV, V and VI episodes, but it's a must have collection!

Digital effects could have been left out

I love Star Wars - especially the original saga. The characterization and the story are "out of this world". George Lucas did a great job - and the story of the Skywalkers and the Force have any person on their seat with Sci-Fi action and swordplay. The only problem with this item is the digital effects of the Remake.. Certain scenes felt completely out of place to the original quality of the movie. Although it gives an added detail to the story, some of it could have been avoided. But all in all a very enjoyable movie box set - and a must for all the Star Wars fanatics
