Along the same lines of the other books by Gary Chapman, The
Five
Languages
of
Apology
takes a relational issue and then helps the reader see if from different perspectives. For this book Chapman teamed up with psychologist Jennifer Thomas to discuss a persons "apology language" - that is what an individual believes represents a real apology. The authors stress needing to know the "language" of the person you are apologizing to in order for the apology to be effective.
This book re
all
y made me think. When I apologize for something I usually just want to get it over with as quick and painlessly as possible; I rarely think of the type of apology the offended party needs. Needless to say, my perspective is changed after reading this book.
I highly recommend this book. It will improve
your

Hope comes in the form of a book
I've been waiting for(needing)this book for years and years. Being involved in
relationships
where apologies were rare, and from parents who never did, this book will change the way I approach my future relationships. This, paired with the
Five
Love
Languages
, is a must read. Too bad they don't teach this kind of stuff in High School. This pair of books would be a perfect graduation or wedding gift. Jim from Florida.
Five Languages of Apology
The
Five
Languages
of Apologies has a lot of interesting insights both into the importance of apologies and
how
to make one effective with whom you're apologizing to. My only misgiving is that it is much too long for the topic; the book drags on and on about a topic that I think could've been covered in a pamphlet. Although the idea that people have different forms of
apology
that reach them is interesting, once the idea is gotten across, it is pretty common sense; this book tries to make a science out of it which is a bit silly. They could've written this book at least half the size it is now.

OK Book
Some good stuff but some of it is psycho-babble that only exists in the minds of the authors.
Not Love Languages...
This book did not live up to my expectations after reading "The
Five
Love
Languages
". I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 10 positive. It used far too many illustrations to make the point and made reading it more a labor than a joy. It could have been published in fewer pages and carried greater impact because the points are valid.
