Great novel about JFK's assassination
Robert Dorff is to be commended for writing such a readable and well put together novel on the events of
November
22, 1963. I was impressed with the screenplay touch the book conveys; one can well picture a movie being made of Dorff's novel. This is true "faction" at its best. Get it.
An authentic thriller
22
DAYS
HATH
SEPTEMBER by Bob Dorff
Dorff's book is a page turner, particularly as the
sands of time run out for JFK. The author's ability
to project historical characters from THE INSIDE was a
completely new experience. The book has such an
authentic feel, more than anything I've ever read
about the subject. I read that Mr. Dorff has been an
esteemed Researcher of the Kennedy Assination case
since the Sixties, and that is what gives this book
its unique edge.
For instance, learning the back and forth between
President Kennedy and Fidel Castro was very
fascinating. What a position for Castro to be in!
Kennedy's machinations in dealing with the Cuban
Premier were especially revealing. This is writing
that could only come from one who knows deeply and
widely the nuances of the case. And it's all served
up as a gripping thriller that completely holds your
attention.
The inferences of Secret Service complicity
(stupidity?) was an eye opener to me. The tension as
the narrative went forward to the murder of the
President was almost unbearable, not unlike watching
"THE DAY OF THE JACKAL." I knew what happened in that
story too, but reading Dorff's book didn't reduce my
trepidation for what was going to happen in Dealey
Plaza on
November
22nd.1963. You must read this book!

just when you thought you knew all about it....
Robert Dorff has fashioned a tight, amazing thriller -- more fact than fiction -- that sheds light on the
days
leading up to the assassination of JFK.
Even though you know the outcome, you will still be on edge as
November
22 draws closer. This is a don't miss.

unique book
Dorff's unique book is a gripping account of JFK, the man and the President. So many facts I've never known about kennedy are detailed in this convincing story. Dorff's first person, easy to recall, style reflects years of research and personal contact with many people who had inside knowledge of the assination. Dorff makes a strong case for the Secret Services involvement in the plot. The Mafia,J.Edgar Hoover,Jimmy Hoffa, Lyndon Johnson and Fidel Castro are among those who benefited from Kennedys death. Draw your own conclusion. JFK had two secrateries who couldn't type but were there to satisfy his insatiable sexual appetitate. So much for Camelot.
