Introduction......

I originally bought this soundtrack for 'Uninvited' as well-but fell in LOVE with Jimi Hendrix 'Redhouse'. I am originally a guitar/blues fan; Areosmith, ZZ Top, the like; but when I heard 'Redhouse,' it was love. This prompted me to buy 'Are You Experienced?' by THE MAN-er, Hendrix; sorry-and it has barely left my turntable since-um,the hendrix cd... This is a well put together soundtrack; and anyone who likes blues and mellow songs should purchase this. I was equally impressed with Alanis's 'Uninvited,' a beautiful song-I was proud that she got the grammy she so well deserved for the song. This cd is a great purchase; especially if you tend to be in a...mellow mood often. I would not give it up for anything; it introduced me to Jimi Hendrix-and that alone was worth the $$ I paid for it.

This CD is great!!!!!!

This is my all time favorite CD. My favorite song on here is Feelin'Love by Paula Cole. I know most of the words. I think everyone should lisen to this CD! It is great! I love it!!! My cousins have this CD. Iam trying to save up my allowance for it. I'm twelve years old! This is a great CD to play at a party or just to listen to when your bored. It will most likly cheer you up!!!! It does me!!!!!!!!!

Very Melodic

I bought this CD for the Alanis Morrisette and Goo Goo Dolls songs, but once it switched over into the musical score... I was transferred back to my seat in a darkened theater, crying my eyes out. Gabriel Yared has a knack for creating beautiful melodies, and this music is even better than the score from "The English Patient," for which he won an academy award. I now find myself skipping the the pop tracks and heading straight to the emotional heart of the CD.
