My Boy Loves This Book

My seven-year old got this book for Christmas and is reading it cover to cover. He wanted to take it to school so he could show it to his friends and "read it in his free time". I had to say no because he would probably race through his work just to have more time to read it.

As I type this, he just came in to show me a paper water bomb he learned how to make (no, it wasn't full).

The boys love it! (Big boys too)

I bought this for my son for the holidays and he loves it! Daddy reads it as much as his son, he says he wishes he'd had a book like this when he was a child....I may need to get Daddy his own copy too!

Excellent book

I gave copies of this book to three boys and their fathers for Christmas. All three dads e-mailed me and told me that the boys were devouring the book and reading for pleasure. It brought back many memories for the dads and presented many opportunities for interaction with their sons.

It's a guy thing, ladies don't try to understand it.

My husband heard about this on the radio and asked for it for Christmas. He loves it so much he bought one for every other man in our family. It is chocked full of information which the book itself admits is useless to women as a whole.

How to tie different notes, identify different bugs, make different contraptions that no modern man will ever make, but I can say the entertainment value I have seen every man that has received it reap makes it worth it's weight!

Good for boys AND fathers.

My 3 sons (4,6 and 8) received this book as a New Year present. They started to read it together with their father and all had a lot of fun. The book very well written, easy to read for children and has a lot of fun activities to do.
