Great mixer at a great price: $229.00! And no shipping...

I love my new mixer. It handled stiff cookie dough just fine. Am hoping to get the shredder attachment soon. It fits neatly into my tambour rolling door corner appliance garage, and slides right out when I need it. The larger version is too tall for this. This is the perfect size for the amount of cooking I do these days. I noticed that the price went up right after I bought mine.......

This was a wedding present, they were thrilled. I have the smaller one of the stand mixer and wish I had this size. The smaller one throws flour around the counter top even with the clear plastic guard.

This is a powerful mixer that is very useful for bread making. The price here at Amazon was $120.00 less than available at any local retailer.

KitchenAid Artesian mixer

This is our second KitchenAid mixer. There was nothing wrong with the first one - we just decided that having the mixer itself tilt back made things a little easier. Either way, we absolutely love it. It is a real workhorse. Making bread dough couldn't be easier. Just mix according to your recipe and then let the mixer knead the dough while you sit back and enjoy a glass of wine. We also make quarts and quarts of relish in the summer. The chopping/grinding attachment allows us to chop up to 3 gallons of veggies in less than a half hour! I'd recommend this machine to anyone.
