My Grandfather's Son: A Memoir
Reading Clarence Thomas' autobiography made me even more respectful of this man as a
son
, grandson, student, civil servant and Supreme Court Justice. I admire him more now than I did before reading this book. I watched the "Anita Hill" episode unfold and watched the congressional hearings, but sensed it was an attempt to dishonestly rewrite history. I'm so grateful he has strength and withstood the undeserved indignations. I am proud to have Justice Thomas serve on the Supreme Court. By the way, I am a 63 year old white woman who thoroughly enjoyed this book.

truely tells the struggle of minority people to be equal to their counterparts blacks inparticular. But if you can servive the many battles you will be stronger as well as the rest that are in your group no matter who they are. With the help of God you can improve the surcomstances.
I will read the book again and hopefilly gain more and will share it with others.
honest and compelling reading
The life of Justice Thomas is surrounded by some mystery for those of us who are not constant followers of the activities of the Supreme Court. Nonetheless, the autobiography peels away layers of mystery and reveals the human side of this man. Even if he were not prominent in government, this would be an inspiring read, one which challenges each of us, no matter our life circumstances,to seek a higher way. I am a better man for having read this book.
