Eclipse Great on CD

Eclipse was one of my favorite books in the Twilight series. Listening to it brings out details that you miss in reading the text. Audio book is great supplement to the printed edition.

Amazing!

Such a good book, and so much better than the second one! I love that Jacob has a bigger role in this one, and hope that even though the actor playing him in the first movie is so adorable, unless they make him look ten years older, it's not gonna work if they make more movies! =(

It is a well written book. It makes you not want to put the book down until you get to the end.
My daugthers and myself are reading the whole set and have enjoyed it.
It is worth the money and time to get all the books.

Being a human isn't so bad is it?

Ok..call me crazy, but this has been one of my favorite books in the series. I liked it because I liked learning more about the Cullens. I think I liked it because New Moon sort of droned on about Edward and seemed like the author was just writing to write sometimes. I liked how Eclipse presented the elements of sacrifice to Bella and what she would give up in becoming a vampire (the Rosalie dynamic that put it into perspective the good things about being human). But, some thing I don't like about all the books..sometimes I do wonder sincerely what Edward and Jacob see in Bella? She has a bad attitude about most everything, her and Jacob are really rude to each other, she wants to give into her hormones and doesn't even think getting married is a good idea, and she does dumb things that put her at risk in every book. How many times does she almost die in every book? I think Bella would be better off with Jacob. I haven't read Breaking Dawn yet...but I think it would be rewarding to think that the world of the seemingly perfect immortals couldn't be as good as what all of us humans go through every day. It would mature Bella in my mind if she would realize (like Winnie in Tuck Everlasting)that immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be compared to the vast possibilities available to any human girl choses who makes her life promising and full.
