It worked for me!

I'm not a great dieter... I'll be the first to admit that! But I started this plan just after Thanksgiving of 2006, and by April of 2007, I'd lost 60 pounds! And no, I didn't weigh 300 pounds! I went from a size 16-18 to a size 10-12. I loved this plan because its cut and dry, easy to follow. I also discovered a lot of ways to make healthy food that actually tastes fantastic. After 2 or 3 weeks on this, your cravings disappear! This has totally changed the way I eat food, which is the goal of all diet plans.

I should note, that as always, diet alone doesn't produce these kinds of results. I was doing at least an hour of cardio, 5 days a week. I just started back up on Phase I in hopes of losing my last 20 pounds!

Fat Smash Works!

I bought this book in the hopes of changing my lifestyle. I'm a huge fan of celebrity fit club, and I always heard about these celebrities feeling great and losing weight because of Dr. Ian's diet plan, but I never thought it would work for me. I read through the entire book before buying it, and it convinced me that I could actually lose the weight and start living a much healthier life. Phase I is incredibly strict, but worth the effort and dedication you put into it. 9 days of nothing but fruits, veggies, milk, yogurt, and the like is hard to do. For someone who loves meat, such as myself, this is the hardest thing to do. I'm currently on day 6, and I've lost 9 pounds! I'm not starving myself or anything - I've done a 30-35 minute cardio workout everyday since day 1, had my 4-5 meals a day, and I've grown accustomed to eating a healthy salad twice a day, with yummy snacks and meals like frozen grapes (great for summertime dieters!) and fresh smoothies made with ice, bananas, strawberries and your 6oz of yogurt sitting. It's so yummy! Once you begin phase II you can start adding in meats in portion-controlled quantities, healthy cereal like cheerios, etc...
I'm still young (in my very early 20s) and I used to feel so tired and listless all the time. After just 6 days on this plan, I have so much energy and I keep a regular schedule for exercise. I'm actually waking up each morning wanting to exercise! Basically - I feel better than I have in years and just about 5 years ago I was in high school. Now that's gotta say something, doesn't it?
If you're looking for a healthy way to lose weight, keep it off, and go through each day feeling great, then this is really the plan for you. If you can make it through the first 9 days, you're set for life!

The easiest most successful diet ever

I bought this book on May 15th and started the diet on June 1st. As of June 26, I have lost 13 pounds and my boyfriend has lost 22. Most of the weight loss was in our stomach. We didn't even work out regularly! For only eight dollars, this book did what a lot of much more expensive diets and gym memberships didn't.

An incredible resource for everyone to own. Dr. Ian has written a great book. The Fat Smash Diet: The Last Diet You'll Ever Need has helped change the lives of some of my dearest loved ones too. Watching Dr. Ian Smith on the "Celebrity Fit Club" and following the "50million Pound Challenge" became a habit after reading this book. Thank you.

A straight forward diet plan

If you're looking for an easy to stick-to diet, the Fat Smash Diet isn't for you. The first phase (9 days) is a difficult no-meat, no bread, no fun grind. I stuck to it however, and found the results were very good. The best thing about the book and diet is that it's easy to understand and straight forward. My only criticism of the book is that it is sketchy and leaves room for a lot of interpretation in foods allowed, quantities, etc.
