One of the best on this topic

As David Thoreau said (paraphrasing) that for every 100 people hacking at the leaves, there is one hacking at the roots. In this book, I believe Fiore gets to the essence of the problem of procrastination and offers viable solutions.

He does a masterful job of helping the reader to look inside his mind and emotions to see what the real core of the problem is -- usually some type of fear.

It could use a bit more focus on some of the solutions, but then the book would be longer. Start here before going to other books for solutions.

Excellent, practical book

I love this book and recommend it to many of my clients. The simple to understand stories and explanations illstrate how and why we procrastinate, and the author's suggested cures really work.

NOTE: THIS REVIEWER IS THE AUHOR OF "NEVER BE LATE AGAIN, 7 CURES FOR THE PUNCTUALLY CHALLENGED."

Don't put this off...

This is a powerful book for those of us who struggle with procrastination. The book provides insights about the why of procrastination and the how of overcoming it. I give it the highest of recommendations.

You what?!

I'm amazed that people can write so much about procrastination! Surely this tells you something... procrastinaters unite or what! No stress, no procrastination. Simple.

not just about procrastination

The book goes beyond how to deal with procrastination. It provides me a new philosophy of life, that is, choosing to do what I commit and never push myself into victimhood. The book does offer many easy and effective "tools" to deal with pressing procrastination problems, but most importantly, the book keeps telling us the procrastination is the result of underlying fear and anxiety, and I believe it's more important to understand and tackle the fear instead of fancy strategies of dealing just the symptom, that is, procrastination. By this I want to thank the author. The book sometimes repeats itself and becomes less organized, but overall it's very easy to read and implement.
