I works under Linux. The v4l driver module you will need is either the spca5xx or the newer gspca module. Enjoy! See newegg.com's website for more reviews on this product. The resolution is poor, but the price is right. I got this to use with Skype.

Good mouse!
I got this mouse to go with my EEE 1000H, and am pleased with it. Responsive, smooth. Takes a little getting used to since it really is small! But I would buy another one. I got the EEE to be portable, and the small mouse goes with it naturally.

great quality/sharpness/color, can easily see individual leaves blowing in yard from 20-30 feet. latest version of camera doesn't have a microphone and IR leds have been replaced with black plastic pieces.
