Jane Eyre
This is by far the best Jane Eyre movie yet. I had to own this classic. My 13 year old Grandaughter was here for a visit this summer. We watched it together and now she has fallen for it too. My husband also agrees that is is very well done. Love it!

Outstanding adventure films!
I remember when this version of "The Three Musketeers" was due to be released in the 70's...it was promoted as being more realistic in the atmosphere, attire and weaponry use of the time depicted. It hits square on in all these areas! The more gritty atmosphere (along ...

Dr Zhivago Among The Finest All Time Classic's
I wish I could live a life as full as Dr. Zhivago. Every so often one realizes that when events in history happen, it changes the lives of people to the extent that can only be read about or viewed to believe. The loneliness, and then joy, Fear, uncertainty, and ...

So Right To Have Remained British
It is probably not the best film ever made about Charlie Chaplin, and I even think it is far behind Charlie Chaplin's own autobiography on which it is supposed to be based. But it makes a couple of points rather well. First, show business is business first of all. ...

Great underrated film
This great story about a more "normal" family than most will ever admit starts funny and ends nicely (and you will need to pay attention to get it). In between we are taken on a roller coaster ride of insanity, dark humor, insight, observation and discomfort - as in ...

Talk to Her
A slyly subversive ode to love in all its myriad forms, Almodóvar's "Talk to Her" is an intimate, involving tale that examines the dark and even perverse nature of masculinity with great compassion. As always, Almodóvar coaxes exemplary performances from his actors, ...

Sometimes it only takes a few words. 5 stars to Charlie who can still show everyone today that you don't have to have sound to be funny. Even if you don't like silent movies you have to give this one a silent nod of respect and be sure to dance the "roll dance."
