Elvis The Holywood Collection
Great to have these films on DVD now, such good quality. Also arrived with lots of B & W postcard pictures from the films, which was a bonus. I know these films were not his best but if you are an Elvis fan it really doesn't matter.
Viva Las Vegas (Deluxe Edition)
Elvis Presley,
Ann-Margret
Warner Home Video, 2007
Impressive, But Only A First Step
This is one of the most impressive DVD's I've ever seen. The picture and sound quality are absolutely stunning. During the musical numbers you really feel you're right there with the band. With all due respect to Elvis, however, it would be nice if the studios gave ...

Love It!
This is one of my fave Elvis movies. It has great songs and I love Elvis' character in this movie. Some of his movies can't be watched more than once, but I can watch this movie over and over. Get this movie along with Jailhouse Rock, Viva Las Vegas, and Blue Hawaii.
Follow That Dream
Elvis Presley,
Arthur O'Connell
MGM (Video & DVD), 2004
A Dream with the King
Follow that Dream is Elvis at his best. A comparatively early musical effort before the King settled into his more formulaic series of musicals. The movie has Elvis as an 'aw shucks, maam' good ole' southern boy.On outside appearances - not too bright but underneath a ...

Wild in the Country
Elvis Presley,
Hope Lange
20th Century Fox, 2002
Wild in the Country
This has got to be Elvis' best picture to showcase his acting talent over his great singing. It is almost what would have been considered a coming of age film of the 50's, not unlike "Rebel without a Cause." Super cast members to support his lead. Great film to ...
Elvis - That's the Way It Is (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Elvis Presley,
James Burton (II)

Wonderful
DVD is excellent. Elvis performing and interacting with the audience is a lot of fun to watch. Also, it's interesting to watch the process as he and the band/backup singers prepare for the Vegas show. Highly recommend.

Fabulous!
I grew up in the era of arena rock--if you can pack in ten thousand fans, why not 20, or even 30 thousand? I could never understand why, by the early 80s, so many bands were 'going back to their roots' and playing in small clubs. Well, I had seen the Comeback Special ...
