Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, Book 2)
Sherrilyn Kenyon
St. Martins Press, 2002
Oh My Gosh!!
I'm so loving this series. I'm at a lose for words to describe Ms. Kenyon's writing style. It's great. I love the humor in her books. The characters are to die for. A fast read. You won't be able to put it down.

Taunt, exciting thriller

Unleash the Night (A Dark-Hunter Novel, Book 9)
Sherrilyn Kenyon
St. Martins Press, 2006
Great book
I'm not gonna say what happens, you can read other reviews for that. What I will say, is that I really liked this book. This book is not about a Dark-Hunter. Instead it is the 2nd book about Were-Hunters. We see more of the Peltier family (bear clan) in this book. ...
How English Works: A Grammar Handbook with Readings
Ann Raimes
St Martins Press, 1990
Buy this book if you want to improve your score at TWE
I had to learn some grammar to take the TOEFL TWE, and this book was an excellent choice. It is very well written and edited. It is also very easy to read. It would be great if it had all the answers to the exercises, but it deserves five stars anyway.

The Vanderbilts and the Gilded Age
If that Library Journal reviewer read more than just the Introduction, which contains a couple of typos, he'd have realized this book tells more about the Vanderbilts and their world than any other book on the subject. Obviously, he didn't. It's a great read.
Sassafras, Cypress and Indigo
Ntozake Shange
St. Martins Press, 1982
Lyrical form
One of the best books I have ever read. From the first page I was drawn into this world completely and never looked back. One of those rare books that I was devastated to have end, and moped around for months afterward with nothing to read because I knew nothing would ...

An Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural
James Randi
St Martins Press, 1995
While this is more like a dictionary than an encyclopedia, it's certainly not what I had expected from "The Amazing Randi," the man known for his zeal in debunking paranormal claims. This is an easily accessible and honest study of remarkable events which proved to be less than supernatural and makes a handy reference source or ground point to ...
The Autobiography of Henry VIII: With Notes by His Fool, Will Somers: A Novel
Margaret George
St Martins Press, 1986
Great!
This is one of my favorite books. If you are tired of reading about how horrible Henry was you'll enjoy the spin his fool Will Sommers gives us. This book allows you to sympathize with Henry and all his "terrible" plights he had to endure. Very well written.
