Little, Brown and Company, 2008
Loved 5th, missed 6th, loved 7th
I have become a huge Patterson after reading the 5th Horseman, lapsed on the 6th Target and found my way back for 7th Heaven. I just love the play on numbers. This is the 7th novel in his Women's Murder Club series and the book starts off in as far a place from heaven ...

The Heretic's Daughter: A Novel
Kathleen Kent
Little, Brown and Company, 2008
(4.5) "I am my mother's daughter too."
Kent does a brilliant job of retelling a shameful period in American history, the Salem witch trials of the 1690s. The scorching account is related by Sarah Carrier Chapman, only nine years old when her family moves in with her grandmother in Andover, Massachusetts. ...

Goodbye Bush
A friend of ours bought us this book, and what a wonderful gift it is! I have it on the coffee table - for everyone to read and ponder. For those who don't know or have forgotten Margaret Wise Brown's Goodnight Moon, I recommend keeping a copy of her book close by. ...
When You Are Engulfed in Flames
David Sedaris

LOL
I laughed. Out loud. On an airplane reading this book. BTW... Also check out the interview he did with Jon Stewart about it. Hysterical.
When Will There Be Good News?: A Novel

"Run, Joanna. Run." So begins this riveting novel, a small girl witness to a harrowing crime that, thirty years later, once more intrudes upon the security of an innocent victim who has remade the past into a sustainable present. On a jagged trajectory, a convicted ...
The Vaccine Book: Making the Right Decision for Your Child (Sears Parenting Library)
Robert Sears
Little, Brown and Company, 2007
Excellent book
This was a great book. I started the research on vaccines late, my daughter have gotten 2 full rounds of shots already. As a new parent I had some concerns on this topic and although I did some research online, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information on pros ...
The Host: A Novel
Stephenie Meyer
Little, Brown and Company, 2008
Incredible
This book was so incredible. I wasn't sure about it at first because I'm not too big on sci-fi but since Meyer is such an incredible writer, I had to read it and I'm so glad I did. She is such an incredible writer and I don't think anyone could have pulled off a plot ...
Outliers: The Story of Success

In this stunning new book, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of "outliers"--the best and the brightest, the most famous and the most successful. Exit Music (Inspector Rebus)
Ian Rankin
Little, Brown and Company, 2008
Farewell Rebus?
Well, if it was, then it is a fine and fitting end. Although the cliffhanger tells us that we aren't going to be seeing that much less of Rebus. Rankin used the self imposed limitation of the last ten days of Rebus official career very well. The action is taut and ...
Sundays at Tiffany's
James Patterson
,
Gabrielle Charbonnet
Little, Brown and Company, 2008
Fantastic book!
I love this book! I think this is probably James Patterson's best book to date. I love the way he draws you in to the characters and makes you feel like a part of his book. Also the way he takes an abstract subject and makes you believe. What a fantastic author!
